Cocktail dress. Summer 2022: textures and prints that are on trend

In the last post we talked about colors that are trending this season. Today we continue this trend analysis with the most popular textures and prints.

Prints that are trending in 2022:

This year 3 prints predominate above the rest: stripes, animal print and flowers. We analyze them one by one, looking at the options that Ravial puts at your disposal.

Striped print

Although horizontal and sailor stripes are a classic, this year vertical stripes predominate. A resource that stylizes and that we will see on any application: evening dresses, swimsuits, accessories...

Animal print

Otro de los estampados que ya lleva años en primera fila -y parece que aún no va a cambiar- es el animal print. Sobre todo, en su versión más atigrada.

Retro print

The retro print, also called "modern vintage", is a print inspired by the 60s and 70s. Whether flowers, geometric or psychedelic prints.

The Modern Vintage aesthetic does not refer to a single print, but to the inspiration of certain prints that remind us of the wallpapers that decorated homes during the 60s and 70s.

We have developed several designs that, thanks to our printing service, you will be able to print on the base you like the most.

Textures that are trendy in 2022:

In addition to colors and prints, the fabric itself also comes marked by trend. We discover what they are:

Transparencies

When transparencies hit the streets it can only mean one thing: the good weather is here.

There are transparencies of all kinds, more or less discreet, depending on the person who wears it. They can be totally transparent shirts, as in the image. Or transparencies that occupy only sleeve and back.

Net Clothing

Although daring, it is a trend that we can already see in the streets, as well as in the big brands, both in clothing and accessories.

Satin fabrics

We finish the analysis of these trends with a fabric that will make us billiards: el satén, tal como leemos en este artículo de SModa El País: «La moda quiere que recuperemos el brillo: el satén lo invade todo».

Whether to wear a shirt style or to go elegant without giving up its freshness, this year satin is a good choice.
