Every September, Oviedo is transformed. The streets are filled with bagpipes, laughter, dances and that special air that only the most beautiful festivities of San Mateo, one of the most beloved celebrations in the north. It is not just a party: it is a way of feeling, remembering and sharing roots.
Behind every parade, every song and every traditional costume, there are centuries of history, pride... and a lot of attention to detail.
