On October 31,it is time to celebrate Halloween,also known as the night of the witches.

Halloween is a celebration that has spread all over the world and whose history dates back more than 3,000 years. Legend says that people used to wear masks and costumes so as not to be recognised and protect themselves from evil spirits,as well as lighting campfires and decorating their homes with bones, skulls, pumpkins, spider webs and objects associated with evil.

But over the years, people also began to take 31 October as a night to honour and communicate with all those good spirits.

Nowadays, on this last night of October, the little ones of the house usually go out dressed up in scary costumes and go in groups from house to house in their towns, cities or neighbourhoods to look for sweets with the famous: Trick or treat!
