High temperatures have arrived and with them, the need to look for a very fresh outfit. For that reason, we are going to review today the basic fabrics to survive the summer:
Rayon and Viscose
Known as artificial silk, rayon is a great choice for summer. And although it is not a natural fabric, its thin threads bring us that much-needed freshness. Soft and pleasant to the touch with a great drape.

Perforated fabrics , also known as Eyelet, are those fabrics that have small holes in their shape that give shape to the fabric and allow air to pass through. They are usually made of 100% cotton, so they are very cool and breathable.
Cotton fabrics have the characteristic of absorbing humidity and transpiring. It is a natural fiber, good conductor of heat, very durable and easy to wash with which to make dresses, blouses or pants, for example.
Surely one of the classics of every summer, thanks to its comfort and freshness. Made of natural fiber, it is a heat-conducting fabric, of vegetable origin and static-free.

According to what we read in ABC newspaper (link in Spanish), »Valencia will celebrate the Fallas 2021 in September» with "activities that would be adapted to the epidemiological situation of each moment and not the traditional programme that is normally followed".
To celebrate such good news, with new steps towards the return to normality, we review some of the most Fallas fabrics:
Fallas scarf
Cotton and polyester vicky fabrics, with a traditional blue and white check pattern. Images, from left to right:
And for your traditional costume, we will opt for materials such as silk or rayon, as well as satin. Also for jacquard fabrics and tapestry styles. Here are some examples:
Velvet keeps defending its presence on stage, thanks to its characteristics: a bi-elastic fabric, elegant and with a lot of presence, which does not wrinkle.
At the same time, velvet details (or flocked decorations) are another important and very versatile tool to complete different dance outfits; be it classical dance, urban dance or flamenco dance.

To this new print, we have added a new thick and elastic base. With it, we can make jerseys, leggings, swimming costumes or tops, among others.
Also, as it is an article of our own printing, it has all the advantages already known: the possibility of exclusivity and guaranteeing the continuity of the product.
Times are changing and we are changing with them! That is why we are incorporating a new line of recycled polyester: ECO-BAIKAL.
In 2012, Greenpeace published its report "TOXIC STRIPS: THE STREET OF POLLUTION" in which it explained how the textile factories that supply the world's major fashion brands hide the toxic trail of their manufacturing processes. The conclusion is simple: fashion, like many other aspects of consumer society, is not sustainable at the current rate..
Recycled polyester is made from recycled materials: PET and polyester fabrics. By choosing recycled polyester fabrics, we achieve the same result as with traditional polyester fibres, but with a smaller environmental footprint.
There is no difference between the two fibres: both classic and recycled polyester can be handled and printed in the same way. The only difference is the environmental impact:
Recycled polyester reduces the demand for oil extraction and consequently the ecological impact.
The production of recycled polyester creates 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester, which is better for the climate.
Polyester already created is reused, giving it a new post-consumer and post-industrial life.
How do I know that a fabric is Recycled Polyester?
To know if a fabric is Recycled Polyester, we must make sure that it has the Global Recycled Standard ((Global Recycled Standard [GRS).] en inglés).
This is international certification that guarantees and assures the recycled content of a product, whether it is a finished product or an intermediate product, such as a yarn for the manufacture of fabric.
Printed Recycled Polyester
Being able to undergo the usual polyester treatment, this fabric can also be printed.
We offer you our entire catalogue of prints, although for this new line, we have developed new youthful and urban designs::
Although this year we won't see large carnval parades, this 2021 we must not give up to Carnival! Whether to go to school, to the office or to dress up as a family, in Ravial we have some ideas:
