The Castanyada is a traditional festival with more than three centuries of history that is celebrated on the eve of All Saints' Eve, at night. It is one of the most charismatic autumn events in Catalonia, Aragon, Balearic Islands and Valencia.

Around this date, it is typical to eat chestnuts, panellets, sweet potatoes and candied fruit, in addition to accompanying meals with a traditional drink, muscatel.

Clothing for the Castanyada

The shades of this festivity are dark tones, such as brown,, como podrían ser los reddish or black.

These colors are combined with each other to create also checkered patterns for aprons, tablecloths, clothing...

Genuinely, for this holiday, we will use the FARCELL fabric , or fardo: a traditional plaid fabric.
