The Euskadiko Eguna -or Basque Country Day- is a public holiday celebrated on October 25 to commemorate the date of the ratification of the Law of Self-Government of the Basque Autonomous Community, known as the Statute of Gernika , in a referendum in 1979.
A date already significant before, since on the same October 25, 1839, the law was approved confirming the Basque Provinces and Navarre without prejudice to the constitutional unity of the Monarchy.
A day when the streets of the Basque Country are filled with Ikurriñas to commemorate this date.
Meaning and history of The Ikurriña
Of Basque origin, the Ikurriña is the official flag of the Basque Country adopted by the Statute of Autonomy of 1979. It was first proclaimed as official flag by the government of Euskadi in 1936. It is also used as the Basque flag and has no official status in other territories that Basque nationalism considers members of Euskal Herria.
It was created in 1894 by the brothers Luis and Sabino Arana (the founder of the Basque Nationalist Party), and at first corresponded, within the series of flags they designed, to the one that identified the territory of Biscay. Later it came to represent the six Basque territories and, with the constitution of the autonomous community of the Basque Country, it was adopted as its official flag..

Military Print
We finish this review of the novelties with three military prints , on different bases: cotton, gabardine and plush.
As we read in Vogue magazine, a print that was a trend in the 2000s and is captivating 2022:: "Although the camouflage print has stood the test of time, it was silent for several seasons". On the main catwalks, we have seen it in the hands of Blumarine, Dolce & Gabbana or Burberry, to name a few.
The main fashion and trend magazines begin to distill the keys of the season, in colors and styles. And we review them, looking for the fabric that best suits each occasion.
Trends: styles
Plaid skirt, schoolgirl style or "kidcore"
Any of the 3 names is valid to refer to this style.
A "punk" style that can remind us of the fashion of the 2000s and that influencers as prominent as La Vecina Rubia or Rosaria herself have already highlighted.
POPPY1. Ref: 01929-0328. Denim fabric with cotton, polyester and elastane.
BANDIDO. Ref: 03497-0310. Denim fabric with cotton.
Monochromatic style
Last summer we talked about the "color block" as a style trend. This season, and especially during this interseason, we continue to see how the "total look" are in fashion.
Triunfan las tonalidades oscuras, también negros y grises, así como los blancos.
Flattering, combinable and modern. It is perhaps the secret of the leather effect garments. A material that every year sneaks into the trends and continues to gain followers.
This year we will see it on a variety of colors, more daring and beyond the classics.
OITA. Ref: 03382-0002. Rustic fabric with some wool.
JACQUES. Ref: 03906-0008. Wool effect fabric, very soft, checkered.
TIMOR. Ref: 03528-0205. Soft fabric, ideal for suits.
Trends: colors
Fuchsia for the most daring ones.
Yes, you read that right. The "pink lovers" are still in luck, as it seems that the trend of strident colors continues for another season, especially in fuchsia.
We highlight in the image "Valentino's ode to fuchsia in Paris" (Woman magazine) within its autumn-winter collection 2022-2023. A fashion show where fuchsia has been the absolute protagonist. "The color of freedom, love, individuality, curiosity and ingenuity", according to the firm.
If vitamin colors were a trend last season, the furor continues this fall/winter.
Proof of this are the vitamin orange / mustard colors used in the fashion shows of Michael Kors, Sid Neigum or Givenchy, to name a few.
Fashion shows in which we have seen the combination of this shade contrasted with brown, as well as total looks on daring materials such as leather effect garments.
Another essential color every season but this year is confirmed as a must. must.
Proof of this have been the proposals that we have seen on the main catwalks, such as these dresses by Christian Dior, which reminds us that styles change but black remains.
The rise of Rosalia is already reflected in fashion. And proof of this is that the intense red is back in the top positions this season. Likewise, the "motomami" style, with appliqués on leather effect, zippers and with intense shades, is enhanced.
On the horizon, we begin to make out one of the most fun -and terrifying- nights of the year: Halloween night. A genuinely American holiday that, over time, has been introduced in Europe to reach our towns, neighborhoods and cities.
Therefore, from Ravial we have a double proposal for this night: DIY costumes and fabrics for decoration.
Halloween: fabrics for costumes and decoration
Table linen, costumes and decorations for streets, balconies or shop windows, the possibilities are endless!

On Tuesday, 21 June 2022 at 11:14 a.m., summer officially began in Spain.
If at the beginning of the year we presented the season's novelties, today we want to talk about those thinner fabrics, ideal for these temperatures.
Natural fabrics are a great ally when it comes to dressing cool. And of course, every year three types stand out above the average: viscose, cottons and linens.
Viscose fabrics
This is a soft, light and drapey fabric that is normally used for summer garments such as dresses, blouses or scarves, for example.
We finish this review with the third coolest natural fibre for summer: cotton. A fabric that we can also find in its multiple versions: plain, printed, embroidered or perforated.
We finish this selection with a fabric that, although it does not come from natural fibres, is just as fresh for the summer. An ideal solution for all those wash-and-wear garments: shirts, trousers, beach dresses?
Model ECO-QAMIZ: This is a a light and elastic article in one sense, very pleasant, which could be defined as a Crepe Marocain. Very fine marocain-like touch. With 62% recycled in the composition (GRS), it is a silk-like fabric with lycra, slightly wrinkled.
A fabric that could be similar to our ECO-BAIKAL model, but nevertheless, they are two different series. The main difference is that the ECO-BAIKAL modelhas more weight and more drape compared to the ECO-QAMIZ model.
Yes, you read that right. Our stamping service allows you to make summer combinations for all tastes. Let's review the many options:
Swimwear fabric.
This is a thick fabric base (250 gr) and elastic with which to make swimsuits, among other garments. A base to which you can apply both normal and fluorine ink.
A solution to adapt any of our patterns to these fabrics, combining them:
Microfiber towel
This is an item we have seen in recent times in gyms, beaches, swimming pools and as a travel towel. This is due to its low volume, low weight and quick drying time.. In this case: 155 cm wide and 200 gr/m2.
Remember that we have almost 2,000 drawings at your disposal, to make the combination that you like the most. As well as adapting your designs to our bases.
At the end of the month comes one of the most awaited dates for the LGBTIQ+ community: Pride Day.An occasion to celebrate, while continuing to demand the rights of this community.
The origin of this celebration dates back to June 28, 1969,when the so-called Stonewall Riots (New York)took place, marking the beginning of the struggle for gay rights.
In the early morning of June 28, 1969, the New York police led a raid on the Stonewall Pub, located in Greenwich Village. The gay community responded with a series of demonstrations that led to violent incidents. In the history of the homosexual movement in the United States, this episode marks the moment when gays began to fight against an entire system, legal, police and social, that persecuted them.
More than 50 years after these events, the LGBTIQ+ community continues to fight for their rights and to combat hate speech. And leading this movement, we find its rainbow flag.
Origin of the rainbow flag, for the LGBTIQ+ collective.
Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in the United States, commissioned the flag from Gilbert Baker, an artist and former soldier who worked as a drag queen. drag queen.
La bandera ondeó por primera vez el 25 de junio de 1978 en la ciudad de San Francisco y originalmente constaba de eight colored stripes. An inspiration mixed between the stripes of the U.S. flag, the colors of the rainbow, and Judy Garland in the musical "The Wizard of Oz", which included the song "Somewhere over the rainbow".
